Some tips to make your trip to Indonesia easy

It is never easy to plan a trip to a foreign country. If you go to a new land without even the basic knowledge a lot of things can go wrong. It is not just about the difference in culture, but also the difference in laws. As a tourist you need to know all the important stuff. To help you out here are some tips that will make your trip to Indonesia easy, comfortable and enjoyable.

§  Like most of the countries, when entering Indonesia your passport should be valid for at least 6 months and should also have 6 blank pages. Along with that you need tickets to prove your onward passage. After passport and tickets, the next thing you need is visa. There are 12 countries for which a trip to Indonesia is visa free. This means that the citizens of these countries can enter without the need of a visa. Besides that there are 65 countries for which ‘visa on arrival’ is possible. Citizens of the rest of the countries need to get a 30 day tourist visa from the local Indonesian embassy.
§  There are many amazing cities in this country. You will need at least a month to visit them all. If you do not have that much time, you should at least have a plan. Make a list of all the cities you want to visit and plan what you will do there. Search for things like tempat makan di Bandung and tempat nongkrong di Jogja on the internet.
§  Indonesia has a vast range of cuisines. If you are really interested in food, you should plan a wisata kuliner. Try out all the cuisines this country has to offer. Just be careful about your health while doing so.
§  It is always a good idea to have phone number and address of your country’s embassy in Indonesia.
